Electric Picnic 2019

I wrote this blog post after Electric Picnic 2019 but forgot to publish it at the time. In August last year I received the exciting news from artist Clare Hartigan (head of PoPA and the Art Trail at Electric Picnic) that I was one of five artists selected to make an 8x12ft painting to be hung on the PoPA wall at Electric Picnic.

My good friend and fellow artist Fiona Concannon came with me to Stradbally on August 19th to help with the painting. We stayed in Stradbally Hall for two nights and got to meet so many people working on site, from the other PoPa artists to security staff, the rigging crew to EP's resident artist Squiggly.
