A contemporary, original Irish landscape painting in shades of purple with strokes of yellow. It is a wonderful atmospheric piece inspired by the magical, mystical Irish landscape. Layer upon layer of textured oil paint was applied using brushes, pallet knives and scrapers. The layers underneath are revealed in areas to give a sense of history and a sensuous quality to the work.
