'Visited By Beauty' (Internal World 28) 2020 is a painting from my ongoing Internal World Series, which I started in 2019 as a response to research into spiritual hunger, the mystery of being human, looking internally and connecting to nature. The abstract imagery is inspired by the beautiful, magical, rugged Irish landscape. The painting started with a vibrant yellow background and the purple, red, blue and black were added as part of the organic, intuitive process that occurs as a painting progresses.There is beauty everywhere if we are open to it.
